DESCRIPTION


The government authority in South Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive information technology (IT) asset class engineer services. The scope includes preliminary and feasibility investigations and reports related to IT systems, involving the collection, interpretation, and analysis of relevant information. Vendors will be expected to analyze existing conditions, compare design alternatives, evaluate operating and life-cycle costs, and ultimately deliver conclusions, recommendations, and a formulated scope of design.

Additionally, the selected provider will give evaluations and recommendations on both the selection and deployment of new technologies that enhance operational effectiveness. Project engineering services will also be required, encompassing project management, support, integration design, development of equipment specifications, implementation, testing procedures, project start-up, and close-out documentation. Field process services, such as equipment procurement, installation, programming, integration, implementation, and staff training, are to be provided as well.

The engagement is set for a five-year contract period. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 9, 2026.
