The government authority in British Columbia is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive information management and information technology (IMIT) roadmap review services. The selected vendor will develop a five-year IMIT strategy and roadmap that integrates digital, data, and technology plans, positioning the district to meet both near- and long-term goals.
The roadmap should detail the interplay of digital enablement, data and information management, and technology platforms in supporting teaching, learning, administration, and strategic outcomes. The scope includes developing modern practices for records and information management, assessing cloud and SaaS platform use, enhancing cybersecurity and privacy protocols, as well as reviewing administrative and enterprise systems and digital teaching and learning environments.
Additional responsibilities include conducting a comprehensive inventory and assessment of existing applications and digital platforms, proposing software lifecycle management and retirement planning, and improving secure printing and scanning workflows to ensure efficiency, security, and alignment with district objectives.
