DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Charlottesville, Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide independent verification and validation (IV&V) services for a major project. The selected provider will conduct independent project health assessments, ensuring alignment among university leadership, the system integrator, Workday, and various third-party participants. The scope includes validating the quality of system configurations, integrations, and associated documentation, as well as assessing compliance and internal controls against industry practices and regulatory standards.

The IV&V partner will be responsible for independently identifying and escalating project risks or misalignments that could affect expected business outcomes. Additional duties include reviewing security models and architecture, evaluating communication, training, and readiness activities for program adoption, and assessing the accuracy of data conversion processes and help desk preparedness. The engagement also covers monitoring post-launch ('hypercare') support, defect management, and stabilization of the support model.
