DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Monticello, New York, seeks independent technical consulting services for the review of a proposed town line solar and battery storage project. The selected consultant(s) will provide expertise in hydrology and floodplain engineering by assessing pre- and post-construction stormwater and hydrology modeling, including the review of stormwater pollution prevention plans and drainage designs. The scope includes conducting or reviewing hydrological models to evaluate the impact of woodland clearing and new impervious surfaces on runoff volumes and peak flow rates.

Consultants will also independently review and verify the applicant’s wetland delineations and jurisdictional determinations in compliance with both federal and state regulations. Additional responsibilities involve critically evaluating wildlife survey reports, methodologies, and proposed habitat mitigation and conservation measures.
