DESCRIPTION
The City of Fernandina Beach, Florida seeks a qualified vendor to perform independent auditing services and prepare financial statements. The scope includes auditing and expressing an opinion on the fair presentation of the financial statements for governmental activities, business-type activities, each major fund, and the aggregate remaining fund information, including related notes, collectively forming the basic financial statements of the City.
Additional auditing services may be requested at the City’s discretion, to be executed only upon written agreement. The engagement will require adherence to standards covering basis of accounting, Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), pension plans, and a detailed audit plan. Responsibilities also include interim work, fieldwork, and coordination on the commencement date for the audit. All questions related to the RFP must be submitted by April 30, 2026.
