The government authority in Lansing, Michigan seeks a vendor to provide in home family services to support families at risk of child removal due to abuse and neglect. Services include guidance for parents and children to bolster the parents’ skills and confidence, enabling them to nurture their children within safe and healthy environments.
The selected provider will assign in-home program supervisors to oversee casework and supervise in-home workers, who will maintain flexible schedules to accommodate referred clients during non-traditional hours. Within 30 days of the initial home visit, a written Service Plan will be developed in collaboration with the client, encompassing assessment of needs and risk factors, case goals, objectives, and projected outcomes. Providers will administer pre- and post-tests of parenting skills and assist families in accessing community resources.
Questions regarding this contract must be submitted by March 13, 2026. The contract is expected to span two years.
