An organization in Alaska is seeking a vendor to implement an enterprise-grade, disk-based immutable backup solution with a minimum storage capacity of 150 TB. The proposed solution must include an enterprise server or equivalent appliance configured to retain at least 150 TB of immutable backups. Essential features should include support for incremental backups, data deduplication, and encryption to ensure optimal data protection and efficiency.
The vendor will be responsible for the installation of the backup system at an offsite location, as well as integrating it securely with existing networks to facilitate the transfer of data from production environments. The solution should be compatible with Veeam or an equivalent backup application. This project also requires housing both the backup server and the tape library at the designated offsite facility.
