The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest is conducting a market survey to identify qualified small businesses for an upcoming Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Job Order Contract (JOC) covering general construction, repair, and renovation services. The scope includes projects at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma in Arizona and Naval Air Station (NAS) El Centro in California, as well as other approved locations within the designated areas of responsibility.
This opportunity is open to Small Businesses, SBA-certified 8(a) firms, HUBZone Small Businesses, Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) with relevant and recent experience in commercial and institutional building construction as defined by NAICS code 236220. Prospective contractors are required to demonstrate bonding capacity, provide details regarding their physical office location within a 150-mile/3-hour radius of the installations, and submit information on a minimum of three and a maximum of five recent, relevant projects with a construction cost of at least $100,000 each.
The anticipated contract is set for a base period of two years with an additional three-year option, for a total possible performance period of five years, and an estimated total contract value of up to $49,000,000. Task orders are projected to range from $2,000 to $1,500,000. Interested and qualified firms are invited to submit their company information, business type designation, bonding capacity, operational locations, and past project experience for consideration in the government’s market research efforts.
