DESCRIPTION

The airport seeks a qualified vendor to provide an identity management system that encompasses software delivery, system configuration, implementation services, and integration with existing airport systems. The selected system must facilitate the full range of operational identity activities, including identity verification, application processing, security vetting, training verification, badge issuance, and access control authorization.

Security is a key requirement: the solution should feature encryption of sensitive and personally identifiable information both at rest and in transit for internal and external users. Specifically, transparent data encryption is required for the application database when it contains personal data. The system must also support automated user password resets with authentication and provide a comprehensive data breach recovery plan, including a liability matrix.

Vendors will need to detail how their solution will track and fulfill any necessary corrective actions, such as fines, suspensions, or mandatory training, as part of the compliance and incident management process.
