The University is seeking a vendor to modernize its Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution with the goal of enhancing security, streamlining user access management, improving user experience, and ensuring compliance within a multi-cloud hybrid environment. The selected solution must integrate seamlessly with existing authentication and onboarding processes, delivering a disruption-free transition.
A core requirement is to provide a seamless single sign-on (SSO) experience that supports the management of multiple identity sources. This will accommodate the institution’s evolving application ecosystem. The solution should facilitate password-based, adaptive, and passwordless authentication, as well as centralized management of multi-factor authentication (MFA) policies across all users, roles, and integrated applications.
Additionally, the IAM solution must support modern SSO protocols including SAML 2.0, OIDC, WSFed, and optionally CAS for legacy systems. Multi-domain provisioning is required for integration with Active Directory (AD), Entra ID, Google Workspace, LDAP, AWS Identity Center, and various SaaS platforms. The contract period for these services will be five years.
