Human-Centered Design Services

The government authority in California is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive human-centered design services. The selected company will facilitate strategic planning sessions and design projects focused on challenges identified within workforce development systems. Responsibilities include engaging with and interviewing customers, staff, and partners to gather critical insights.

Vendors will collaborate with teams and partners to create customer journey and service maps, participate in implementing prototypes for system and process improvements, and build internal capacity through staff training on human-centered design principles. The project also involves translating community insights into actionable system enhancements, mapping system entry points and referral pathways for job seekers and businesses, and designing triage tools or intake processes that elevate the customer experience. Additional deliverables include the development of toolkits, templates, and playbooks to support ongoing innovation.
