DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Massachusetts is seeking a vendor to provide HR compliance consulting audit services. The selected firm will evaluate human resource policies for compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, and EEOC guidelines. The audit will include assessments of policy clarity, consistency, and enforceability, as well as reviews of anti-discrimination, harassment, equal employment opportunity, and retaliation provisions.

The scope of work also encompasses ensuring legal compliance related to recent updates, such as salary transparency, paid leave, and remote work policies. Additional areas of focus include reviewing job postings, applications, and offer letters, interview protocols with respect to anti-bias laws, background check and reference procedures for FCRA and EEOC conformity, onboarding processes (including required notices and new hire paperwork), maintenance and confidentiality of personnel records, ADA accommodation practices, and COBRA administration. The contract will be for a one-year period.
