Hosted Electronic Medical Record Software

York Region Sexual Health Clinics are seeking a hosted electronic medical record (EMR) software solution. The solution must provide all core EMR functionality via a secure web browser interface, enabling the management of electronic medical records, user actions, automated processes, and workflows. Additionally, the software must include an application programming interface (API) to support integration requirements.

The selected vendor will be responsible for establishing both production and non-production instances of the EMR solution, configuring them in accordance with the region's approved solution design and workflow documentation. Collaboration with the region will be essential to configure security roles that align with operational needs. The vendor will also develop a process for reviewing and rapidly resolving configuration issues.

Data migration is a critical component, with the vendor overseeing the migration of representative, non-identifiable data sets into the non-production environment for testing. This approach ensures that all data types are validated while maintaining strict privacy compliance. Preliminary configuration testing must be performed prior to system training to validate the integrity and performance of all system configurations.
