An organization in Oregon is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive homeownership language access, community outreach, and engagement services. The selected vendor will be responsible for promoting homeownership services through culturally responsive marketing campaigns and community events while ensuring that language assistance services are available and well-publicized for individuals with Limited English Proficiency.
Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality translation and interpretation services—covering all languages spoken in the service area, including American Sign Language (ASL)—as well as adding closed captions or subtitles to videos and developing materials in ASL. The scope also involves developing or updating a language access plan for organizational or homeownership program use. The vendor will engage community members in the development of outreach materials by facilitating focus groups, listening sessions, or surveys, and providing stipends for their participation. Additional activities may be undertaken to enhance the visibility of and access to homeowner and homebuyer services across diverse communities.
