DESCRIPTION


The city is seeking a consultant to provide homelessness response coordination and community engagement services. The selected vendor will support the implementation of strategic plans to assist the City Homelessness Services Coordinator in achieving measurable goals related to addressing homelessness within the community.

Responsibilities will include coordinating interagency responses, facilitating communication among various stakeholders, and supporting the execution of the city's homelessness strategies. The consultant will engage in community education, stakeholder facilitation, and maintain a regular presence by operating an office at the Train Station for public communication once the space is open. Additionally, the consultant will be expected to report on progress and performance, collaborate with local service providers, organizations, businesses, residents, and regional partners, and ensure effective tracking of outcomes.

The consultant will work under the direction of the City Homelessness Services Coordinator and act as a liaison to enhance collaboration and drive collective impact in addressing homelessness.
