DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Hudson, New Jersey is seeking a vendor to provide homeless social services for a one-year contract period. Emergency food funds are available to serve low-income individuals and families who are ineligible for other programs, with services delivered at congregate sites or food pantries. Each unit of service will be either a meal distributed to a client or a bag of groceries given at a food pantry, with the unit cost to be determined by applicants.
Emergency shelter funds are earmarked to provide temporary shelter for persons in immediate need without permanent residences. Contracted providers will be responsible for inclusive staff and facility costs at the program site. Staff should demonstrate both expertise and flexibility in working with the target population.
