The government authority in Boulder, Colorado seeks a technical consultant to support its wildfire partners home hardening pilot program. The selected consultant will be responsible for training contractors, reviewing bids, assisting program participants, and inspecting contractor work.
Tasks include providing eight hours of mandatory group training for three to five home hardening contractors, conducting two randomly selected site visits per contractor, and delivering written feedback on the projects in progress. The consultant will advise and counsel wildfire partners staff throughout the pilot program, participate in surveys, develop 'lessons learned', and contribute feedback towards establishing a permanent home hardening program.
