DESCRIPTION

The Stamford Downtown organization seeks a vendor to deliver a comprehensive holiday lighting and seasonal decor program. This service includes the collaborative design, installation, maintenance, removal, and storage of large-scale holiday lighting throughout downtown areas. Responsibilities entail working with Stamford Downtown staff to develop conceptual layouts and visually appealing enhancements for major corridors and parks, offering creative suggestions for upgrades and efficiencies.

Scope of work involves installing lighting and decor on street trees (ranging from 15’ to 60’+), decorative lamp posts, traffic signal poles, parks, plazas, gateways, and building facades. The selected vendor will provide ongoing inspection and maintenance throughout the holiday season, replace failed lights or damaged decor promptly, and offer on-call support for storm-related or emergency repairs. At the end of the season, the vendor will safely remove all lighting and decor, properly pack and store reusable materials, and maintain an inventory of all client-owned items. The contract is for a one-year term, with a mandatory pre-bid walkthrough scheduled.
