A government entity in Washington, DC requires maintenance and support services for its HID Global ActivID credentialing management system server. The primary responsibilities include renewing 350 HID ActivID licenses and providing comprehensive software maintenance, which involves access to security updates, patches, and vendor technical support to ensure optimal system performance and security compliance.
Additionally, the scope includes an optional task to upgrade and migrate to a new server. This encompasses identifying and planning for the replacement of legacy FIPS 140-2 cards, which will soon become non-compliant, as well as assessing the need for replacing hardware or virtual servers, tokens, smart cards, or hardware security modules (HSMs) to meet updated compliance requirements.
