DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Bunnell, Florida seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive health benefits consulting services. The selected consultant will design, implement, maintain, communicate, and improve the district’s benefit programs, including reviewing current benefit plans for potential gaps and overlaps. Close collaboration with the human resources (HR) and senior management teams is required, as well as attendance at district meetings.

Responsibilities include representing the district in dealings with benefit service providers, recommending alternative funding arrangements, and analyzing service provider reports on claims utilization. The consultant will market for necessary stop-loss coverage, provide carrier recommendations, and offer pharmacy carve-out solutions with rebate savings guarantees. Additional duties involve monthly reporting on financial developments, claims experience, network utilization, and conducting presentations to the Board, Insurance Committee, and administrative meetings.
