A vendor is sought to provide health and welfare plan administrator services for a self-funded health plan covering 292 employees and a total of 782 lives, which includes both active employees and early retirees. The current plan is managed by HealthPartners, who also serve as the stop loss and pharmacy benefit manager. There are two benefit classes, one for active employees and another for retirees.
Eligibility for the health plan is extended to employees working 30 or more hours per week. Beginning January 1, 2026, active employees who retire will no longer be eligible for the retiree class. Early retirees and their covered dependents who are currently on the plan will retain coverage until age 65 or until becoming Medicare eligible. Interested vendors must submit questions by March 9, 2026.
