DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Washington, DC seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive health and welfare benefits brokerage as well as retirement plan fiduciary services. The scope includes administration support, consulting, and insurance brokerage services for group medical, prescription, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, supplemental health plans, employer-paid and voluntary life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, short-term and long-term disability, mandatory state benefit compliance, parental leave, employee assistance plans, and workers compensation administration.

The vendor is expected to deliver technical assistance and guidance regarding enhancements to benefit coverage, efficiency improvements in plan design and administration, and support during transitions. The services also include reviewing and evaluating administrative processes for enrollment and billing, recommending and assisting with process enhancements, and providing recommendations on trends, cost containment strategies, financial arrangements, and administration.
