The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Precision Strike Weapons Office, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Delivery Order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to The Boeing Company for software updates to the Common Munitions BIT/Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE) Mission Application Program (MAP).
This contract action is planned as a sole source award to The Boeing Company, the original designer, manufacturer, and integrator of HII+ Tactical Missiles and associated equipment. The Boeing Company possesses the proprietary technical data, specialized expertise, and resources required to meet the stringent project requirements and schedule. The Navy states that only Boeing qualifies under the current stipulations, but other organizations may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation for consideration.
Potential subcontracting opportunities may exist through The Boeing Company directly. The Government reserves all rights regarding the solicitation process and makes no commitments until a delivery order is issued.
