DESCRIPTION


The 76th Aircraft Maintenance Group (AMXG) is preparing to procure handheld self-positioning laser scanner systems and optical coordinate measuring machine (CMM) scanner units, including software, accessories, and support. This acquisition aims to equip the facility with advanced scanning technology for precise data acquisition and measurement on the shop floor.

The requirements include one ergonomic handheld self-positioning laser scanner system complete with a custom carrying case, four specialized USB cables, a power supply, a calibration plate, a box of 2,000 reflective targets, associated training materials, and a one-year warranty covering parts and labor. Additionally, acceptance testing must be performed in compliance with VDI/VDE 2634 part 3 standards to ensure verifiable performance.

The procurement also encompasses one optical CMM scanner unit tailored for shop floor environments, featuring an eight-meter cable for enhanced reach, a dedicated carrying case, an optical tracker for precise positioning, an additional eight-meter cable for the tracker, a tracker carrying case, and a universal power supply. Comprehensive support and accessories are included to ensure immediate and optimal operation of the systems.
