The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS) is conducting a market survey to gather information from qualified and responsible general contractors for an upcoming Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract for general construction services across the Southeast. This notice is for informational purposes only, and no solicitation currently exists.
The anticipated IDIQ contracts will cover construction projects ranging from the simplified acquisition threshold up to the prospectus threshold in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Alabama. Services include office construction, renovations, MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) repairs and modifications, fire sprinkler system upgrades, sitework, exterior repairs, demolition including hazardous material abatement, elevator modernizations, and other required construction activities. Delivery methods may include both Design/Bid/Build (DBB) and Design/Build (D/B).
The contract is expected to have a maximum length of five years, with task orders providing order-level flexibility for commercial and non-commercial projects. Federal agencies with appropriate contracting authority may place task orders under these Government-wide IDIQ contracts. Industry feedback is requested to help shape the approach and structure of the upcoming solicitation.
