Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT) is conducting market research to identify small businesses capable of providing grounds maintenance and landscaping services at NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach, NNSY in Portsmouth, and other associated areas in Virginia. This effort is intended to determine the availability and capability of qualified small businesses, including Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Women Owned Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, certified HUBZone firms, and certified 8(a) businesses with the necessary qualifications, experience, and personnel.
The envisioned contract will be a Facility Support, Firm–Fixed Price (FFP)/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) arrangement covering both recurring and non-recurring grounds maintenance and landscaping services for a period not to exceed sixty-six months. The scope includes furnishing all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation required to maintain and repair improved grounds, as well as perform vegetation control, irrigation system operation, debris removal, shrub, hedge, plant bed, plant, and tree maintenance, among other facility support activities.
