The Town of Holly Springs, NC is seeking a qualified vendor to provide greenway feasibility, engineering, and design services. The primary objective is to complete a comprehensive feasibility study for a proposed greenway, with opportunities for additional project phases including preliminary engineering, final design, and permitting. The scope of work may also include bidding and negotiation assistance as well as construction administration services.
Vendors will be expected to conduct an initial scoping meeting with Town representatives to refine the project scope, outline operational requirements, and establish applicable construction standards. Ongoing project management, including regular progress meetings and coordination with both utility providers and relevant stakeholders, is essential through the planning, survey, and design phases. Key deliverables include conceptual-level cost estimates and schedules for each considered alternative, recommendations for a preferred greenway alignment with supporting documentation, base mapping and survey integration, development of preliminary horizontal and vertical alignments, and the creation of typical sections and preliminary concepts for structures such as bridges, boardwalks, and retaining walls.
