DESCRIPTION
A consulting firm is sought to provide strategic services focused on graduate medical education (GME). The selected consultant will conduct a comprehensive, data-driven assessment and develop an actionable, phased strategy to address GME and related academic medicine priorities. This includes analyzing population and demographic trends, disease burden, and access gaps to identify physician workforce needs.
The consultant's responsibilities also include evaluating models for academic medical partnerships and integrated operating structures aimed at aligning academics and research. An assessment of the current GME portfolio will be required, considering program mix, capacity, quality indicators, accreditation, and clinical volume alignment. The consultant will propose a KPI framework and dashboard concepts to evaluate key outcomes and provide an options analysis, including decision points, risks, and enabling conditions. Strategy development and scenario planning are core components of this engagement.
