NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) requires a Spirent Federal Systems PNT–X Series GPS Simulator and associated software to meet its project needs. The center intends to award a sole source contract to Spirent Federal Systems, Inc., as this vendor is determined to be the only responsible source capable of delivering the specific simulator and software that satisfy the agency's requirements.
This procurement will be conducted under the statutory authority that permits other than full and open competition, in accordance with applicable federal regulations. NASA may consider responses from organizations that believe they can meet the stated requirements, for the sole purpose of determining whether there is a need to compete this acquisition.
Interested parties are encouraged to review the Statement of Work for further technical details about the GPS simulator and software being procured. All submissions received by the specified deadline will be evaluated solely to determine the potential for future competition.
