The selected vendor will provide government relations and public affairs consulting services. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with members and committees of Congress, the executive branch, representatives of other public agencies, professions, businesses, and industries.
The consultant will advise, develop, recommend, and implement strategies to advance both long- and short-term capital funding needs before federal and state governments. This support will encompass assistance with the application process for grants and other funding sources. The vendor will also assist the Executive Director in developing a governmental grant program and in educating and introducing federal government members and entities to the agency’s capital projects and operating funds.
Additionally, the vendor will identify federal grant programs for which the agency is eligible during the engagement term, and may provide or recommend firms for grant writing support.
