This RFP seeks a vendor to provide a global safer internet browsing web proxy system with an emphasis on advanced cybersecurity controls. The solution must feature cloud-native, forward web proxy functionality and utilize advanced AI-driven protection against malware, ransomware, and phishing. Integrating with real-time threat intelligence feeds, the system should ensure automated updates for malware signatures, phishing databases, and URL blacklists. It also requires TLS and SSL traffic inspection, including large-scale decryption and re-encryption, along with granular web content and URL filtering for effective policy enforcement.
The desired service delivery model is fully cloud-based, eliminating the need for any on-premises hardware deployment or ongoing maintenance. The platform should be distributed across multiple global data centers to ensure high availability, resilience, and low latency for users worldwide, serving both office-based and remote or roaming users.
The proposed solution must support various traffic forwarding capabilities including endpoint/client software for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android devices, proxy auto-configuration (PAC) files, proxy chaining, as well as IPSec and GRE tunnel integration. Compatibility with CrowdStrike Falcon Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) agents and Tenable vulnerability management scanning agents is also required.
