The selected firm will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of securities, including debt instruments and equity securities such as stocks and warrants. These assets may be publicly traded, over-the-counter, or private placements.
Key responsibilities include holding assets, settling securities transactions on behalf of the agency, and efficiently finalizing transactions in coordination with brokers, clearinghouses, or similar intermediaries. The vendor will also manage the receipt, acceptance, and recording of all asset transfers to and from the agency account and facilitate the transfer of funds to the U.S. Treasury.
