DESCRIPTION
The City of Boston is seeking a vendor to deliver a comprehensive GIS mapping tool system known as MassEnviroScreen. This system will enable energy project applicants, government agencies, and local communities to visualize and analyze cumulative environmental, public health, and socioeconomic data through an intuitive and transparent platform.
The project requires the development of detailed documentation covering the tool’s architecture, data sources, update mechanisms, and troubleshooting protocols. Deliverables include the complete source code, relevant datasets, technical notes, and maintenance instructions to ensure IT staff can independently sustain and update the tool. The vendor will be responsible for refining and finalizing the indicator framework and methodology, delivering a beta version, and incorporating feedback for improvement. The engagement concludes with delivery of the final tool, comprehensive documentation, and user training.
