DESCRIPTION

The city is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive, GIS-centric, data-driven Public Works Asset Management System to replace its existing asset management system. The new platform must integrate seamlessly with the city's current geographic information system (GIS) and other relevant data sources, enabling detailed visualization of various asset types—such as roads, bridges, water systems, sewer systems, and public facilities—on layered maps.

The solution should support robust asset tracking and management for a variety of infrastructure, as well as tracking parts, supplies, and material inventories across multiple site locations to support both field staff operations and financial audits. Key features must include strong data management capabilities, easy data import and export, and a user-friendly interface accessible via both web and mobile devices.

The system must support real-time GIS data updates and synchronization, offer a mobile-first component for field operations with offline data collection, GPS-accurate asset location, photo capture, attachment uploads, and seamless synchronization between field and office. This integration aims to reduce errors and minimize travel time for field staff. The initial contract period is set for one year.
