Ginnie Mae is seeking information from vendors with expertise in consolidating cloud platforms to support the agency’s cost management, service mobility, and overall cloud optimization objectives. The project will focus on optimizing cloud service costs, enhancing multi-cloud capabilities, and ensuring a smooth transition of existing cloud accounts into a single payer account owned by Ginnie Mae. This initiative will involve working collaboratively with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) cloud providers, current contractors, and other service providers.
Vendors are asked to describe their experience with multi-tenant cloud environments, specifically within AWS east-west commercial and government cloud settings. Responses should include organizational details, information about partnerships with major cloud service providers such as AWS, Microsoft, and Google, as well as explanations of methodologies for transitioning customer master payer accounts. Additionally, vendors should outline their expertise in the platforms and services they manage, support, or resell, and describe strategies for promoting effective cloud service budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
