The city of Duncanville, Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive geotechnical testing, engineering, and concrete services for a range of infrastructure projects. The selected firm will support various municipal operations through site investigations that may include soil borings, geophysical surveys, laboratory testing, and other geotechnical evaluations.
Key responsibilities encompass geotechnical analysis, such as soil mechanics and slope stability assessments, as well as developing foundation design recommendations. The vendor will also offer expert geotechnical engineering consultations and surveying services to assist with infrastructure planning and execution.
In addition to geotechnical tasks, the vendor will conduct a range of concrete testing procedures—covering slump, air, cylinders, beams, yield, coring, cement content, mix design verification, batch plant inspection, concrete placement, and rebar inspection. Preparation of a preliminary engineering feasibility report will also be required, including schematic layouts, sketches, and conceptual design criteria.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for February 10, 2026, with a deadline for all vendor questions set for February 18, 2026.
