The government authority in Wilmette, Illinois seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive geotechnical services involving full depth coring of rigid, flexible, and composite pavements to assess pavement thickness. The Village will supply exhibits for each location and will mark boring locations in the field with white paint prior to the start of work.
Geotechnical reports must be prepared separately for each program and sealed by a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois. Each report should contain exhibits with identification numbers and locations of each core, crew member names, graphic profiles indicating pavement layer depths and materials, depth of reinforcing steel (if present), aggregate base and sub-base depths, water table depth (if visible), and soil boring logs including depth of subgrade. Reports should also describe seasonally high groundwater levels and include photographs of the pavement cores.
Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by March 5, 2026.
