The government authority in Woodland, California is seeking qualified vendors to provide geotechnical, environmental engineering, and environmental planning and permitting services. Responsibilities include delivering expertise in natural geological systems, geological exploration and mapping, mine planning and design, comprehensive environmental regulatory compliance, and permitting activities for surface mining sites.
Other key services involve evaluating rock masses and applying rock mechanics, particularly concerning drilling, blasting, and mechanical rock removal. Vendors will also be expected to monitor structures for vibration and movement, provide planning for excavations near critical infrastructure such as highways, railroads, and occupied structures, and conduct slope stability analyses by identifying rockfall hazards and recommending effective mitigation measures.
Additionally, the contract entails providing environmental engineering consultation for various construction projects, delivering design services, and supporting environmental compliance with both state and federal regulations. The contract will be established for a three-year term.
