DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Aliso Viejo, California seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive geotechnical and material testing services. The selected provider will be responsible for conducting on-site and plant sampling and testing of materials to ensure all work complies with contract documents and the Quality Assurance Program (QAP), or as directed by the inspector. Coordination with inspectors and contractors will be essential to determine requirements for sampling and testing, ensuring seamless execution of work activities.

Vendors must anticipate, investigate, and promptly notify relevant parties regarding any defects or deficiencies found in materials under examination. Detailed reports documenting testing procedures and construction observations—including equipment used and materials delivered—are to be prepared in accordance with QAP standards. Additionally, the scope includes reviewing and providing recommendations for contractor change proposals related to materials, obtaining and reviewing certificates of compliance and material submittals, offering independent assurance programs per QAP guidelines, and performing geotechnical plan checks and report reviews.
