DESCRIPTION
A government authority in California is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive Geographic Information System (GIS) services. The required services include ongoing maintenance and enhancement of GIS data, such as updating existing datasets, organizing data, and performing quality control and cleanup tasks to ensure data integrity.
In addition, the selected vendor will be responsible for designing, developing, and updating GIS applications using ArcGIS Online/Portal. This may involve leveraging tools like Experience Builder and StoryMap to create effective GIS solutions for departmental needs. The scope also includes automating routine GIS workflows and processes by utilizing tools such as Esri Model Builder, Python scripting, Safe Software’s FME, and other relevant APIs to improve efficiency.
Moreover, the vendor will provide high-level technical consultation, offering expertise and recommendations on new Esri features, applications, and GIS best practices. This includes mentoring staff and assisting with department-specific GIS strategic planning. All questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted by December 1, 2025.
