A government authority in San Marcos, Virginia is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive general engineering services. The scope includes field survey services to determine existing site conditions, identifying all utilities and surface features as thoroughly as possible.
The vendor will also be responsible for the design of drainage improvements in compliance with the City's current Stormwater Technical Manual, utilizing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. Street and sidewalk improvements must be designed to meet the Transportation Design Criteria Manual. Water and reclaimed water system replacements, as identified in individual project scopes, will require design in line with the City's established criteria. Elevated storage tanks may also be addressed, with design work adhering to the City's requirements.
Additionally, environmental services will be required, including the preparation of reports and permits as mandated by federal and state agencies.
