The government authority in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive general consultant services focused on the design and execution of the agency's exhibit strategies. This involves managing the development and implementation of design concepts in current exhibit spaces, adjacent exterior areas, and underutilized spaces within both the interior and exterior of the agency.
The selected consultant will be responsible for providing creative direction, coordinating teams, and offering overall management of architectural, industrial, and physical design. Responsibilities include the production, construction, and installation of exhibit elements that incorporate multimedia, sound, lighting, text, images, animation, video, mobile and interactive technologies, as well as interpretive narratives, graphics, and experiential messaging. The consultant must also develop technical reports detailing specifications, service and maintenance requirements, and warranties for all technologies and interactive components.
Additional duties include managing the documentation and secure storage of all digital assets, preparing budget estimates for design, production, installation, and maintenance, and coordinating the preparation of detailed design drawings and renderings for selected exhibits. The contract is set for a one-year period, with questions regarding the RFP due by April 27, 2026.
