A construction project is planned for the development of a Standard Design Barracks at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to accommodate 260 unaccompanied enlisted personnel. Supporting site work involves utilities and connections to privatized electric, natural gas, water, and wastewater systems; site development; exterior lighting; paving; sidewalks; curbs and gutters; storm drainage; landscaping; and signage. Each living unit will have a self-contained heating and air conditioning system, with a central HVAC system serving common areas. The project also entails demolishing two existing buildings totaling 6,389 square feet. Facilities will be constructed to a minimum 40-year life expectancy, aligning with DoD's Unified Facilities Criteria for energy efficiency and building performance. The estimated construction duration is 1,550 days, and the anticipated magnitude exceeds $10 million.
A Firm-Fixed-Price contract is expected, with the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220. This acquisition will be full and open, utilizing the Best Value Tradeoff selection process. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) is a requirement for all offerors.
