The Judiciary, State Of Hawaiʻi
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
A government authority in Hawaii seeks a vendor to furnish, install, and maintain Wi-Fi network services throughout a courthouse. The project includes installation, configuration, and testing of a secure wireless internet network, with all necessary infrastructure, hardware, and system integration provided. Requirements include managed PoE++ Layer 2 switches—one per Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) across six IDFs, plus one Main Distribution Frame (MDF) switch—and Category 6A plenum–rated cabling from IDFs to all access point mounting locations.
Vendors must deploy Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) managed wireless access points throughout public areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, and circulation spaces, and install and configure a network security appliance to isolate the public Wi-Fi from internal courthouse networks. The work also involves configuring a dedicated Public Wi-Fi VLAN with firewall rules to prevent lateral movement to court systems, performing a pre-installation wireless site survey with heatmapping, conducting end-to-end connectivity and PoE load testing, and providing as-built documentation and a network topology diagram. A pre-bid meeting will be held on May 11, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by May 14, 2026.
