A Michigan-based agency is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide, implement, and support a fully cloud-based Voice over IP (VoIP) phone system. The solution must be scalable, reliable, and secure, specifically designed to meet the needs of an educational environment. This modern cloud-hosted telephone system should include handsets for all users, softphone capabilities, voicemail services, fax support, and number porting. Vendors are expected to provide comprehensive implementation and training services.
Key implementation tasks include system configuration, deployment, onsite and/or remote installation, and end-to-end testing and validation. The selected provider must also deliver ongoing technical support with SLA-backed uptime and response times, system monitoring, and maintenance. Core features required are an auto attendant and call routing, voicemail-to-email, call forwarding, transfer, and hunt groups. Additional user features include dedicated desk phones, desktop/mobile softphone options, and preferred unified communications such as chat and presence. The contract period is for one year.
