The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 10 seeks to upgrade its current Fujifilm Synapse Cardiovascular PACS system from version 6 to version 7 for the VA Ann Arbor Health Care System. This upgrade will support cardiology providers in reviewing and accessing cardiology images and data necessary for the diagnosis and care of veterans. The scope includes licensing for software and interface engines, professional services for training (both on-site and remote), implementation, server buildout, workflow module conversion, and legacy database consolidation.
Due to the proprietary nature of the Fujifilm Synapse Cardiovascular PACS software and OEM-specific requirements for parts and service, only Fujifilm Healthcare of Americas Corporation can provide the necessary upgrade and support services. No other vendor or distributor can fulfill the contract requirements without impacting system compatibility, service reliability, and operational continuity.
The government intends to enter into a firm fixed price contract exclusively with Fujifilm. Interested parties must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that they can meet all specialized requirements and prove competitive advantages.
