A Michigan-based organization is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-hosted fuel management system with a strong emphasis on high availability, redundancy, and failover capabilities. All solutions must be hosted within U.S.-based data centers to ensure compliance and data security.
The required system should feature a web-based administrative interface and support for mobile credentials or comparable technologies. The solution must include vehicle-mounted authorization hardware capable of collecting telematics data and wirelessly communicating this information from the vehicle to the fuel dispenser. Reliable acceptance and synchronization of data from vehicle monitoring devices are essential, as is the ability for offline operation with automatic data synchronization when connectivity is restored.
Additional requirements include configurable fuel limits, fuel type restrictions, comprehensive exception handling, and backup key fob-based authorization hardware. The system must be scalable and capable of managing an unlimited number of active vehicles, supporting the complex needs of modern fleet management.
