SUMMARY

Seeking a vendor to provide a secure, user-friendly FOIA request management platform for Washington, DC, supporting the full lifecycle of FOIA requests.

DESCRIPTION

The government of Washington, DC is seeking a vendor to provide a robust and user-friendly Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request management platform. The selected platform must automate and streamline the intake, processing, communication, tracking, and disposition of FOIA requests, ensuring compliance with federal FOIA requirements throughout the entire request lifecycle.

Key features of the platform should include centralized request management, allowing for the receipt, logging, tracking, and management of FOIA requests through a unified interface. Secure storage and retrieval of all FOIA-related documents and communications are essential. The system should support at least two users at baseline, incorporate role-based permission controls to maintain appropriate access levels, and offer an intuitive and simplified interface designed for low-volume FOIA environments.

Additional requirements include real-time status tracking of requests, time-stamped updates and deadline monitoring, and dashboard or reporting views for progress oversight. Built-in tools to facilitate communication between requestors and responders are also necessary. Interested vendors must ensure all questions regarding this opportunity are submitted by December 17, 2025.
