DESCRIPTION


A government authority located in Salt Lake, Utah is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive forest management plan services. The project includes characterizing the current forest conditions and developing long-term strategies to promote forest health and resilience. Key goals include enhancing wildlife habitat, decreasing hazardous fuel loads, and identifying and mitigating fire hazards and risks to the surrounding communities.

The selected contractor will be responsible for evaluating the property description, current inventory, and forest conditions, as well as developing a thorough safety plan. Site visits are encouraged to accurately assess ground conditions. Contractors are expected to utilize publicly available forestry, wildland fire, fuels, and natural resources data from sources such as Landfire, ArcGIS, and various federal and state agencies to inform their site characterization and recommendations.
