Key responsibilities include the development and execution of an effective economic development strategy to promote Texas as a desirable business climate. This involves creating a targeted business recruitment and marketing plan, as well as participating in trade shows, trade missions, marketing trips, and seminars aimed at positioning Texas as a leading destination for business investment.

The vendor will assist in formulating marketing strategies to expand trade and investment opportunities for Texas companies, utilizing social media to showcase events and share state-approved content highlighting Texas's advantages. Additional duties include supporting the planning, content development, and publication of supplements in prominent media outlets to further market the state's benefits as a business hub.
